Cheap Ways To Abdominal Fitness Equipment
You want to get those Abs in shape? Trim that stomach down to a nice smooth flat and toned surface. Going to cost a fortune in equipment right? I'm going to show you how you can do this without having to break the bank. So if I may, let's start looking at abdominal fitness equipment.
Mats
One of the cheapest pieces of equipment you can buy for toning your AB's. Laying flat on the floor can be quite painful so purchase something like a yoga mat and for good support. What can you do with the mat?
Leg raises
Sit up crunches
Cycle crunches
Elbow plank
Full plank
Mountain climbers
To name but a few things, these exercises don't just work your AB's but also hit other areas too.
Swiss ball
Not just something to kick about on the beach or in the garden, most Swiss balls come with an exercise guide. There are many exercises you can do with the Swiss Ball, not just AB's you can get a good over all work out. The exercises I tend to do are as follows.
Upright plank to pull in
Shoulder presses
Crunches
Crunches lying over the ball
AB wheel
This is basically a metal shaft with a wheel in the middle, the idea is for you to put your hands either side of the wheel on to the grips.
AB roll out
In a press up position roll out using your hands and pull yourself back in.
AB pull in
Your feet are on the bar either side of the wheel and you pull your hips back and up, so your feet are coming towards you
Russian Kettle bells
They are a cast iron weight that looks a bit like a cannonball with a handle; you can get adjustable weight kettle bells. But in my view its best you have a mixture of weights so you can quickly change between them. More muscle groups are engaged by the swinging and movement. A kettle bell work out is said to yield better results in less time. You need to use micro-muscles to balance the kettle bell as the center of mass moves with the swing.
Typical exercises are
Sit ups holding a weight or kettle bell
Bull horn squat
Kettle bell swing.
Push Up bars
Good for allowing deeper press-ups which also require you to pull hard on your AB's, good for using after a hard set of AB exercises.
AB Rocker
To me this is the least effective AB toner, I'd only use this after I had worked my abs out hard and just fancied a top up.
These are just a few options for hitting those AB's, for more information on abdominal fitness equipment and exercises, please click the link below.

Beach Rocker Q&A
Boys: Am I a like-able girl?
I'm asking this question because, well, I like this guy... so yeah...
I'm not the skinniest person on earth, but I'm "normal" weight. I'm really funny (I was voted class "joker" in 6th grade.) I have black hair, I got really straight white teeth, my skin tone is a light tan. I dress like a girl with a little twist: I wear a good amount of black. I'm kinda tomboy-ish... percent wise, like 25%. I love football and basketball a lot. I use curse words sometimes... they slip outta me.. I say "dude." a lot too. I can hang out with all groups of people because I'm a mix of everything: Girly, Tomboy, Sporty, Rocker-Chic, Funny...etc. I also love going to the beach.
Please tell me if I have a chance with a boy... I'm currently single and I don't know if there's something wrong with me...
you sound very like-able to me idk but just wait theres plenty of people out there. no offence but maybe guys are looking at you more as one of the guys instead of a girl you should try to act a little more girly around them
Is the Hubb Bodyboard a good board to buy for $180?
I am an intermediate progressing rider, who is just now getting really into bodyboarding. I have started going several times a week, but I've noticed my last, cheaper bodyboard is beginning to have some reverse rocker. So I'm looking to get a new bodyboard, and this one seems to have good reviews for it's price, and has many of the features I'm looking for. Is there any reason not to get this board, and if so, what other boards would I look at?
Extra Info:
I ride prone 99% of the time. I am trying to progress at tricks. I am 5'9" and 165 lbs, and was looking at the 41.5 inch model. I live in San Diego California, and will be going to college near Newport Beach in the Fall.
PS: Any anti-bodyboarding comments are not welcome and will be ignored. If you don't like my sport that's fine, but don't be a douche and make rude comments about it.
I quote:
5.0 out of 5 stars Great board for learning, March 9, 2006
This an excellent board for women, beginning to advanced bodyboarders. This is the perfect size for me and I'm 5'4". It rides great and the workmanship is good despite being made in China. Very light and handles well on the waves.
The only thing you may also want to look at is that you can save $30 by ordering from either of the websites below.
