I suppose you mean to not turn gray or black. silicon-based treatments and all that is flaxseed oil turns black. To maintain the cedar looking for "new" using oil and thinner tiles 50/50 blend. Do not use anything but paint thinner and also is black. If using chlorine, the cedar will turn gray quickly.
