Don’t give a thief an invitation to try and steal your car. Use a car cover to conceal the contents inside your car and to minimize the risk of vehicular theft.

Q: I’m afraid my car cover might get stolen. How do I protect my car cover?

A: Always, always, always, use a system to mark your personal belongings, including your car cover. The instruction sheet will tell you the correct way to mark your car

cover. With your car cover, you will also receive a car cover cable and lock set. Use the cable and lock to secure your car cover onto your car.

Q: How do I install my car cover?

A:   1) Take the car cover out of the bag.

       2) Put the front of the car cover over the front bumper.

       3) Pull the car cover over the top of the car and fix it firmly under the rear bumper to cover the front and back bumpers as the last step of installing your car cover. 

Q: Has my car cover already been treated with a water repellent, or do I have to treat it myself?

A: A DWR (durable water repellent) treatment is performed during the manufacturing of the car cover. Over time, with extended wear and many washings of your car cover, treatments can wear off.

Q: I have an old back injury that limits me from lifting heavy objects. Will I be able to put on and take off my car cover?

A: The car cover is not made from a heavyweight material like the car covers of years ago. Therefore, the car cover is not bulky or awkward. The ideal weight of a car cover is between 4 and 7 ounces per square yard. The car cover material is designed to be easy to handle and user friendly.

Q: I live in the desert where the hot sun can cause a lot of cosmetic damage to a car. Will using a car cover prevent this?

A: Yes, think of your car cover as sunscreen protection for your car.
