if it goes dark, it's a minor problem to return to the stain. You can give the surface a light sanding with 120-degree paper finishing sand, buy a product called 'E' stands for surface preparation easy and follow the instructions. then I am left with a stain color of your choice Dulux sure it is spirit, not water based coatings based on two working done.hope this helps.

Beeswax is the trick?

I recently bought a small dining set is made of beautiful teak root untreated .... I've noticed I was beginning to break around some places to stop getting worse I slapped a load of beeswax and polished it is in ..... the catch? and I use finish wax on it.? thank you very much.

Besides being soft enough to smear the bees wax will not help w / cracking. It could simply clean w / turpentine and get the wax. As mentioned teak oil is much better to feed the wood and enhance color. Teak can be stained (crime) and an oil finish applied to seal the wood and provide a better test of teak oil spill alone. An oil finish can also stick with wax for added protection. Best regards
