From this website:
http://www.ferret.com/ferret-hammocks-and-beds/see-all-ferret-hammocks-and-beds/200/
How can I make the:
Marshall Pet Paws & Relax Hammock & Stand Assorted, Marshall Fleece Lookout For Ferrets, Super Pet Super Sleeper Fuzz-E-Floor, Puffy Odor-Eaters Ferret Lounger Red, Super Pet Simple Sleeper Play Tunnel, Ferretopia Play Corner Blue Cotton.
Please help.
Thanks
Well, first you need some fabric and thread. A sewing machine would be good, too. You can hand stitch it all, but it might take a lot longer. Anyway, it's kind of hard to explain how to make that stuff. I just look at the products, make some patterns using tagboard, cut the fabric, and start sewing. As long as you have some basic sewing skills, then it's not hard to do at all. Here's a link to a forum thread with patterns for ferret bedding, also has some "no sew" stuff: http://forum.ferret.com/tm.aspx?m=17515
how to set up a hammock?
last week i bought a quictent 59" BLue and White Hammock, very cheap.but i don't know how to set it up safely.if u're expericed, pls kindly help.im dreaming of swaying in the backyard.
Is the 59" a typo on your part? That is less than 5' total length, so unless you are 4' tall you won't be enjoying your hammock. Assuming it is a typo, if it came with a hammock frame, follow the directions to slide all the pipes together and hook one end on each "S" hook attached to the frame. Place it in an area that allows you at least 2 feet on each side for swaying. I keep a cooler next to mine for iced tea ( or harder if you like alcohol), and I reach over, take a drink and then put it back to stay cold. If you don't have a frame, you will need to have two places to tie the hammock about 8 feet apart that you will tie short ropes to from the end rings of the hammock. They should be about 4 feet off the ground so when you get in and it sags, you won't touch the ground. The ropes must be heavy enough to hold your weight. If you have two trees the right distance apart or a tree and maybe the railing support of a deck or other permanent structure to tie to you are set. Nothing to tie to, you will have to purchase a hammock frame.
