broken welds a metal patio swing if you sit on it without cushions?

Long story short, my father insists that if I feel in the backyard swing without using solder pads that hold the seat next break. Affirms that the pads is better distributed the weight and break the welds habit and rust. It's a good theory, but the swing isn't attached to a rope, which is welded. The bar sits on the pad (if I was using) run the length of the seat (the seat has three) and two supports under these bars that divide the seat in three parts (one for each mattress section is = a section for each person). so I think that bars the pads sit in almost their support, and the cushions are there only to be a comfortable to sit, instead of being a "weight distribution system." taken into consideration when I'm in the swing im sitting still, bouncing up and down on it as a springboard. I firmly believe that has been terribly misinformed about the weld is weak.

Well, yes, if the welds good .... you should be fine with pads .... But your dad is right about the pads more evenly distribute the weight ... so this is not a self that is While you are right or only .... Both are right. ... What you may not want to hear ......( always have these discussions with all members such my family .... and these usually develop in all the arguments right .... and just not worth all that wasted energy) Something's Gotta Give ... no matter how difficult that is ....
