Our Oval Perforated Picnic Table is a stylish and boldly colored picnic table for outdoor use. It is a flexible table with a standard six foot length that will seat up to eight adult users and has multiple uses. It can be found in parks, gardens, and residential locations. However, its simple design and relatively light weight make it useful for indoor applications also. It can be found in community centers, country clubs, and convention centers. The table top has a center hole and can be used to support a colorful seven and one half foot umbrella. The umbrella is sold separately, has a one year warranty, and is available in black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, navy, burgundy, beige, and brown.



The Oval Perforated Picnic Table is constructed from heavy duty eleven gauge steel perforated with 1/2 inch holes on staggered centers one inch apart. The perforation gives the table an attractive look, reduces the overall weight, and allows water, rain, and snow to pass through the holes rather than pooling. Both the table top and the bench seats feature the same design. The understructure or frame is constructed from heavy duty tubular steel. The sled base legs allow for easier portability when moving the table to a different location. All of the tables metal is galvanized which gives the product an added layer of protection against rust and corrosion. The understructure is given a durable, black powder coating that is the second and final level of corrosion protection. And the understructures black color will highlight the bold colors of the table top and bench seats. The bench seat corners are all rounded for added safety. And finally, anti-skateboard tabs are available and sold separately. The tabs are very effective in protecting the picnic table and discouraging skateboarders from using it.



The Oval Perforated Picnic Table features a durable thermoplastic coating for its permanent protection against the elements. This plastic or plastic-epoxy coating is the most advanced protective method available for outdoor furniture that is exposed to harsh weather. The coating is applied using an electrical process whereby the coating and the metal are given opposite electrical charges. The powder coating adheres to the metal and is then cured to form a very tight and protective skin. This coating will not crack, warp, or peel for the life of the product. It also contains UV inhibitors that will resist color fading for years. The thermoplastic coating can also be easily repaired in the event it is damaged. The damaged area is heated with an industrial heat gun and the coating will soften and rebind itself. An added benefit is that spray paint does not adhere well to thermoplastic coatings and can be easily removed with a cleaner. The fact that the Oval Perforated Picnic Table is graffiti proof certainly has to be a discouraging fact for the vandal. These coatings are available in sixteen bold and beautiful colors which include black, red, orange, yellow, green, bk-green, teal, blue, navy, purple, burgundy, brown, beige, sandstone, gray, and granite.



There are three basic mounting options available for the Oval Perforated Picnic Table. The choice of mounting option will determine which type of leg base will be incorporated in the final product. A portable mount simply means the picnic table will rest upon a surface without any type of attachment. This mounting method is suitable for situations where the table will be moved frequently. The surface mount is most appropriate when the user wishes to have a semi-permanent table located upon a hard surface such as concrete. The table legs will be bolted to embedded anchors in the surface. The in-ground mount is most suitable for users who desire a permanent location for the table in grass or soil. Table leg extensions will be placed into holes in the ground and then concrete will be added.

Outdoor Picnic Table Q&A

Any potted plants outdoors that do not require medical attention?

We are about to open the new playground in our community, and I would put some potted plants (preferably with flowers) at the picnic table area. If someone does not require attention (since no one will give them water regularly, so it only depends on the weather). We are in zone 6. They can be small (table) or large (for a large pot next to the tables). Thanks for your help.

Portulaca is the best for flowering, but needs some sun. Other than that great job in a succulent garden without care or pots.

At what age did you start to buy "outdoor toys" for your child?

My daughter is almost 14 months and all I ever want to do is RUN RUN RUN. I was wondering if you would use a playhouse, sand, water table, picnic table, slides, etc. or even being "too Young?
