Washing Horse rugs?
I've been thinking, to save money I want to wash some of my horse rugs myself at home (not the larger ones obviously).
Does anyone know what kind of powder to wash them in and whether to use conditioner?
Also how might I weather proof my light weight outdoor rug?

  When I wash mine, I just use the regular detergent I use for my clothes. You can use conditioner, It won't hurt them or the horse.
  
  I buy the scotchguard stuff at walmart to waterproof my horse blankets. Its in the camping section, and I believe its called 'Camp Dry". It works well, I use it on my slickers too and it helps tremendously. It stinks at first, but the smell wears off.

  Out door rug - they're water proof so stop a horse getting wet should it rain, and they're warm so gives a horse some protection from the elements.
  Can also help stop your horse getting so muddy.
  
  stable rug - They can help keep a horse warm if it's cold.
  Also good if a horse is going to a show the next day, helps prevent them getting stains from the majority of their body to minimise any potential work the next day.

  I have no idea about your weather but I have a full neck rug as a main winter rug ( I am in the UK).
  They can wear an outdoor rug in the stable - it's fine, actually it makes more sense (as long as the rug is dry) to leave your horse in a warm rug instead of taking it off just to put a different rug on.

Hi, I'm planning on holding a Melbourne Cup Themed BBQ Party on Melbourne Cup Day.

My Male cat pees on the bed, rugs or anything when he is mad at us....what do I do?
He is an indoor/outdoor cat. he knows where the litter box is and what it is. we don't believe he has a UTI. This morning he wanted to go outside, i didn't want to let him out yet it was 20 degrees so he went in his litter box to go to the bathroom he still didn't get his way so he jumped on the bed looked and me and peed right in front of me. What do i do besides let him get his way all the time?

  First off, is he neutered? Because that could be one contributing reason, he is more likely to pee outside the box.
  Also make sure that you haven't changed anything with his litter box lately. My cat started peeing outside the box because I changed litter, he didn't like it. Also make sure it's cleaned daily. If it's been moved, put it back to it's original spot, I had a cat that also didn't appreciate his potty box being moved and started doing his business outside of it.
  The other reasons for him doing this are serious, such as infections. He should be seen by a vet.

Why is it that cops are never around when you need them but always there when you dont?
There have been many times that I have needed a police officer, but they always give me some lame excuse on why they cant help me. For example, when I was 16, me and my sister were jumped and beaten up by a 30 yr old woman and man. We went to the police, but all they could say is it was our word against theirs. Here is a second example, my radio was stolen from my car, all they said was to file a police report, they didnt show any interest in trying to patrol my area due to other thefts. Yet another example, things were being stolen from my garage space at my apartment. My outdoor rug, the brakes taken off of my bike, my mail. Are these things not important enough for them? Why do they find it so important to stake out near the side of the road and wait to catch people going 2 miles over the spped limit, not using a turn signal, etc, but cant help a citizen who is being violated by thieves? Where are their priorities? Is meeting a quota more important than protecting citizens?
It is because of cops like clsga that all cops get a bad name. Hey if you hate your job so much find another one. We certainly dont need lazy scum like you patroling our streets. Theyd rather eat donuts and sit on the side of the road than actually work.
