I want to dye my canvas outdoor umbrella. How do I avoid shrinkage so it will go back on the wood frame?

I have a faded canvas umbrella cover. I purchased a dye but am afraid that after I dye it and it dries, it will shrink and not go back on the wooden frame. Can anyone tell me whether it will shrink and if so, how do I best avoid having it shrink? Thank you.

Use cold water and dry it out of the sun. Putting it on the frame while still damp will help too.

Help finding huge umbrella?

I was at a soccer game about a month ago, and I saw these two people sitting under a HUGE umbrella. It fully covered them, and it covered more then just their two chairs. I would like to buy one, and I went to a couple outdoor stores but they didn't have them. Do any of you know where I can buy one? Someone said it was called a golf umbrella but it didn't seem to be big enough. If you could give me links, or store names it would be greatly appreciated.

Those are also called beach umbrellas and market umbrellas. I think the market umbrellas are a bit bigger than beach umbrellas. Check under those names and you should find them. Market umbrellas are often at least 6' wide. Check online first, then phone your local stores. Home improvement and discount department stores sell them frequently at this time of year.
