Shiatsu Massage Chair Review of the Omega Prestigio Om-510
This review takes an in-depth look at the Prestigio OM-510 shiatsu massage chair made by Omega Massage, Inc. Omega Massage, Inc is known for its state of the art design, striking aesthetics and advanced technology. The Prestigio OM-510 was first released in January 2006. It is a midrange model in the $2,000 to $3,000 price range.
When looking at a massage chair, the company that makes it is very important. There are many massage chairs out there, but very few reputable manufacturers. Beware of massage chair companies that only sell at home shows, as many are just fly-by-night operations. It looks like a good deal until you need service, then the problems begin. It is important to go with a manufacturer that has the staying power through good and bad times. With Omega Massage, you are in good and competent hands.
The Prestigio OM-510 massage chair has strong warranty protection. Omega Massage has one of the best warranties in the industry. Omega's standard warranty can only be matched if you purchase the extended warranty of other manufacturers. This is extra value provided by Omega and gives the customer more protection and lowers their risk. The Prestigio OM-510 warranty comes with 5 years on the frame, 3 years parts, 3 years labor, 1 year shipping and 90 days in-home service. Omega has comprehensive warranty coverage on their shiatsu massage chairs.
One of the most striking elements of the Prestigio OM-510 shiatsu massage chair is its stunning design. This contemporary massage chair recliner comes with highly varnished wood armrests and silver accents on the leg footers for a strikingly appealing design. Omega is famous for its very appealing and striking massage chair designs and the Prestigio is no exception. Comfort is also important and the OM-510 comes with a removable back cover, two detachable head pillows and an extra back pad. The Prestigio has a handsome wood side table included where you can put your glass of wine while you relax and unwind.
The Omega OM-510 massage recliner comes with 3 automatic massages ranging from 10, 20 and 30 minutes. There are four manual massage techniques which include tapping, rolling, kneading, and Shiatsu. In the automatic mode, the Prestigio will provide all 4 massage functions in combination. Choose from 4 back courses and the manual massage technique of your choice. These manual courses cover the full back, the upper and lower back, as well as a pinpoint. The focus or pinpoint allows you to set the rollers in one spot and repeat the massage technique of your choice. The design of the Prestigio really covers the lower back or lumbar area better than any other massage chair recliner on the market today.
The foot rest and seat of the Prestigio has is controlled by an air massage system. This lower body air system can work in either manual or automatic mode. In automatic mode, the program will control the lower body massage and alternate through the feet, calves, thigh and buttocks. Switch to manual mode and concentrate the air massage on the feet or any other area. The air pressure can be adjusted to three levels to suit individual needs. A special feature of the Prestigio shiatsu massage chair is its Knee Stretch Technology. The footrest of the Prestigio holds the feet and calves in place. The Prestigio then gently stretches the ankle and knee joints while extending the thigh and calf muscles. This feature helps relieve muscle tension and stiffness in the legs. The knee stretch technology also helps improve your range of motion and joint mobility.
Do your feet ache after a day of work. Let the Prestigio soothe those tired feet with its reflexology foot massage. The OM-510 massage chair has built in reflexology points to induce full body relaxation as it gently squeezes your aching feet. This tireless mechanical masseuse will work all the aches, pains and tension built up in your feet. The Omega Prestigio OM-510 is certainly the best massage chair for its price. This massage chair provides a full body massage to relieve built up tensions and stress. Omega provides excellent warranty coverage protecting the consumer. The Prestigio comes with advanced features with the reflexology foot massage and the Knee Stretch Technology. The Prestigio OM-510 is the total package for a midrange shiatsu massage chair.

Padded Chair Recliner Q&A
why can't they make a "recliner easy chair" bicycle seat?
I have seen questions here about bicycle seats thin and uncomfortable, and I do know there are wider padded ones out there, but why not take it to the best possible...a puffy soft comfy chair 3 wheeler. Most adults would look silly on just a large version tricycle..but if it were a recliner, now thats a whole different thing, something people would be proud to be seen pedaling along on. In fact there would be MercedEZchair, and AcuRecline, ISchairZU, Bedtly.Chairdellac, Posha, ..just think someday even with side refrigerators and little wheel generated TV's. hmmm just a thought.
Right on, dude! We have spent a lifetime conforming to what others think we should do with bicycle seats, car seats, crummy airplane seats, and other sitting devices. How about throwing out the aesthetics and worrying about what other people think is "cool" and be practical for a change? We have earned it. Let the 20-something, conform-at-all-cost, Wall Street worshiping crowd sit on the protologist-inspired butt holders while we ride in comfort for a change!
And remember, Al Gore invented the bicycle.
Guys: How do I avoid being "that girl"?
you know the one that makes her bf get rid of all his junk when they move in together?
We have lived together almost two years. Our house looks like a bachelor pad/college dorm room. I'm not saying I want to turn the place into a princess palace or anything, all I'm asking is to live in a GROWN UP house.
We are both in our thirties, and I really want to have a cool place that we both enjoy, are happy to come home to and are not embarrassed to show out friends.
For goodness sake...how do I convince him that this broken, swivel, 80's style, grandpa, recliner, chair has to go? I've already offered to buy him a new awesome chair to replace it but it was a no-go. What do I do about all his old stained t-shirts? What about his dresser (WITH MOLD ON THE BACK)?
How do I replace his stuff without being "THAT GIRL"?
even if you did that you would not be "that girl" --- i was a lot like that when i first got married i cant say im totally over it but i think im better than i was --- it could be he just wants things he is comfortable with --- maybe just get rid of them when he is not there --- it happened to me and i was not angry --- surprised and eventually accepting --- its your place as well so you are entitled to make the place into something comfortable for you as well ---- best wishes
