Any fresh colorful design ideas to brighten up a dark brown suede couch?

I'm marrying the love of my life in July and we're moving into a one bedroom apartment together. He has a wonderfully cozy & comfy couch BUT it is dark brown. Dull dull dull... I am a very bright & colorful kind of person! LOVE fun colors & cannot figure out how to brighten up this small space & his big brown couch. Any ideas?!

Current on-trend colors that go with browns are orange, lavender and smoke blue-greys. Stay away from robins-egg blue ...it's so 2005.

My Clothes . . . ? !?

I bought some really nice clothes last week..
And i kinda lolz bought expensive ones..
And yea that's okay but..
I bought this skirt and i realized that i'm the kinda person that doesn't like skirts very much..
(It's a long skirt..it's gorgeous but i dnt like skirts)
I really don't feel comfy wearing it..
And if i don't wear it my mom gets mad..
It's like you go and buy really expensive clothes and keep them stored in the closet..
oh yea i bought trousers..and i like 'em
however..my mom prefers the skirt..

What do you think i should do . . ?

wear it around the house untill u feel comftable init thats what i use to do, ( still only wear them around the house lol)
