Mini Diesel Rugs For Sale | The Inspiration Room

Carpets are ideal for the floor, and can be very useful if you have them chosen with care. These rugs create an environment that is unique and comforting to the senses. Carpets are popular with home owners, and are also increasingly being used for purposes of business events, such as fair booths and convention centers.
Unlike the wall to wall carpet, which normally only available in neutral colors, carpets are available in different styles and colorful designs. This adds a personal touch to the decor and made a good impression on clients.
Carpet can be easily taken from one place to another, unlike the solid wall carpet and are easier to pack and unpack. They are also much cheaper than the modular flooring. Modular floor is exposed to damage, but the carpets are much more durable. Another advantage is that they are resistant to pollutants and rarely cause a reaction in people with allergies.
Business environment, such as trade shows, many of the exhibitors have come to realize the benefits of carpet. Most of the local fairs that are bare floor is rough, and it looks very ordinary. A man goes through a significant amount of spending to ensure that the cabin has the most modern equipment in order to present their products effectively. Using carpet in the cabin, you can ensure that complements the rest of the floor display stand. Because they are easily customizable, many use them to display a company logo or trademarks.
Carpet cushion the rough ground and therefore, provide convenience to participants who have been standing for hours moving from one cabin to another. This sense of physical well-being translates automatically to be more open and receptive to their ideas and products, which can result in increased sales.
They can be used to bind the living together, and can also be used as a background display. They are easily draped the walls and the tables and give a look and help the environment.
Area rugs come in many different styles and are made of different materials. You can get mats and oriental rugs, wool rugs and Berber carpets. These rugs also come in different shapes and sizes such as squares, circles and ovals. You can get carpets, form and design you want.
There is also a wide variation in the price of the carpet. Carpets made of rare materials and imported or those with highly artistic patterns and designs can be very expensive. At the other extreme, you can get very cheap rugs made of durable materials and simple habits. Whatever you need carpet and what your budget, you can find a rug that will be right for you.
When you want to decorate and clean your house or work environment, without a huge expense, carpet is simply the best solution.

  3. QUESTION:
You saw an ad in the newspaper for a rug for sale. The ad stated that the rug covers 50 square feet. What is t?
this was my problem on Apangea. i am on the answering the question part, and the equation i have is area = radius x radius x 3.14 or pi
    please help me?
    sorry, a typo.
the question at the end was what is the radius of this rug
how do you solve the equation on apangea?

    • ANSWER:
      sqrt(50/pi)

I have never used apangea before, and as a result, I have no idea how it works. I know it's a math tutoring website, so I'd assume there's a help feature on there. Just use that and ask them how you're supposed to enter the equation.

Here's the step by step instruction of how to do this problem.

      1. as you know area = radius*radius*pi so 50 = radius*radius*pi
      2. since pi is a set value, you can divide both sides by pi to separate the variable (radius) from any extra numbers so 50/pi = radius*radius*pi/pi which makes 50/pi = radius*radius (which is radius squared: radius^2).
      3. so, you now have 50/pi = radius^2 you now take the square root of both sides.
      square root (50 / pi) = radius
      4. So, you now know what the radius equals. radius = square root (50/pi)

Now you just need to use the help feature to ask them how to input this problem.

Hope I was able to help. :)

  4. QUESTION:
Is it considered sacrilege to use a PRAYER RUG as decoration in your home?
I am not a religious person, but I always try to be respectful of others' beleifs. I have seen a number of beautiful Prayer Rugs for sale at antique stores, and I would love to buy one to use in my living room, but don't want to do so if it would be considered sacrilegious or disrespectful. Can someone tell me if it's a bad idea?

    • ANSWER:
That really depends on whom you invite over. Offense, as well as Art are in the eye of the beholder. I've seen erect penis statues, bronzed piles of dog poop. Pretty offensive to most... but maybe not

  5. QUESTION:
i bought a steam cleaner at a garage sale for 2.50$ but what is it used for, and how? rugs?
it blows out steam, but i dont get how steam cleans, and can it work on a rug with dog pee?what can i use it on? and do i need to add any ingredients like pinesol?

    • ANSWER:
If your steamer is high powered with a tiny jet nozzle, you can clean things like grout lines, tires, stove tops, around your toilet, bathtub/shower area, it has so much pressure it blows and cleans at the same time, you do not use anything but distilled water, that keeps the minerals from clogging your tool heads up.
If it is a steamer with a large head that looks like a vacuum cleaner attachement, those are usually for steaming wrinkles out of curtains, clothes, bedspreads, stuff like that, again, no cleaner just water.

  6. QUESTION:

Any Car Boot Sale tips or horror stories?
Am doing a car boot sale for the first time soon and am a complete dunce about it. I selling usual household rammel such as rugs, cushions, CD's, books, candle holders, etc... What kind of pricing system do I use and what should I expect?

    • ANSWER:
Ok, when you first turn up. Get out the car lock it and walk around till a few more cars come, the reason being the early nasty Vultures come.

Then set up your stall, don't put an a huge amount infront of table, people could fall and knock your table down.

Selling its a harsh art. Lable your goods before the sale, be flexiable cos you dont want to bring stuff home.

Make sure there are two of you. I go to car boot sales and rob bits now and again!

Ok when someone comes up to you and ask how much and then they say "whats your best price?" they are professional so be aware.

If they say I'll give ya 50p for something that is worth a £5 haggle.

Next watch out for false money, fake notes.

take a flash and cold drinks and good comfortable shoes, a seat or two. Good table.

      Money tin Tupparware.

      Enjoy!

  9. QUESTION:
Are persons operating an electric bike in Maine in need of Licenses?
De@dbeat dad "Laws", all but forbid a liberal from getting a license in the State of Maine, as the partisans will d ate r ape d rug him and formulate an excuse for partisans in the courts to "impute" an income earning potential against any Liberal.

Loss of licenses, coupled with partisan leaves many fellows of good faith thus without medical attention etc. A bike would be a means of attaining some limited mobility after being kneecapped by partisans (d rug dealers who buy votes for conservatives who then agree to release folks like Freeway Ricky Ross who was convicted of selling more do pe than anyone ever was in California history but got less than 2.5 years "for helping fund the Contras" through illicit d rug sales). But a quick read of Maine Statutes seems to indicate that while children are allowed to ride electric powered transportation devices, they are technically to do so without a license, and the courts can seemingly jail anyone they see fit ... correct?
The above should have read...Loss of licenses coupled with partisan v iolence...
This regards the bicycle question on the subject of electric motors under 750 watts as allowed under Federal law that states. They state something like: "this shall supercede all State laws...".

It seems to me the Commies running the State of Maine into the ground from possitions of mole in our government are in fact breaking with Maine Constitutional Law, that place our Laws under the Federal Laws.

These laws are clearly in violation of the Federal Laws, which the State o' Maine also agrees to agree with as a condition of such funded highway mandates. Doesn't this strike you as overtly Communist? To force others, by prison labor, to fund highway projects in Maine (while systematically stealing the every property of said Mainers), seems a bit more cruel even than the average dictatorial communist. North Korea's dictator springs to mind, as he restricts even bicycle travel as a threat to his Iron grip on the jugular of "his nation".

Is Maine North Korea? (IN your mind ~?)
And just what does 'no the need to fart' mean?

Are you asking for another to be impaled, thus covering the orafice of 'fartation', ~ or are you commenting ~w~ the oposite connotation, 'this man don't fart'?

Because I've been attacked, and I don't much care for 'catch phrases' that are coded so as to encourage injustices.

But I likewise don't discourage encouraging tombs ~ I'd simply enjoy being 'in' on any secret languages I'm being exposed to...

Design Question - Brown Throw Rug on Off-White Berber Carpet?
    Hi there,
I bought a v modern condo, most everything is off-white (carpet, paint) with black kitchen applicances. Found a dark brown wool rug on sale at Pier One for dirt cheap so I lugged it home. i like earth tone colors but wonder if y'all think that a solid throw rug on white carpet is too strong contrast. i only have two soft lime green bucket chairs, a subdued red japanese trunk with a gold monkey on it as a small side table, and an oversized black chair w/ottoman that serves as couch - this has very small light brown, off-white polka dots on it. they're all hand-me downs and i'm making do.

i really like the shag throw rugs with speckles of colors but can't afford that now. any design ideas for around this rug on a budget? or save the budget, return it quick... thanks!

    • ANSWER:
Save the budget - return it quick!
You already have off-white, lime, red, gold, and black in one room. That's plenty.
Suggest saving your money for things that tie the room together, and can be used again.
      Like:
area rug with off white, black, and gold
black and gold print/flower/stripe throw pillows, and drapes
      brass framed paintings, posters, photos
Brass or iron candlesticks, with red or lime candles
Iron, or brass ornaments - vase, clock, lamps, flower pots

  13. QUESTION:
Has anyone ever cleaned an oriental rug themselves? I have called many rug cleaning places.?
I get my oriental rugs on sale or at antique shows so they don't cost all that much. Most of the places I call will charge almost as much to clean it as it did for me to purchase it. I found this website how to do it yourself and I kind of did that but with a power washer not a hose, pretty much the same idea. heres the site:http://www.ehow.com/how_2069546_clean-oriental-rug.html
anyone else have any experience with cleaning oriental rugs?

  14. QUESTION:
    Are white bathroom rugs impractical?
I bought white bathroom rugs for my new bathroom because I figure it will go with everything and they were on sale very cheap. So... are they going to get really dirty and nasty? I figure... when you get out of the shower your feet are clean so why would they be dirty? People don't wear their shoes in the bathroom...
Its just me and my boyfriend in our little apartment

    • ANSWER:
yes they are. people are going to walk all over them and they are not going to be nice and clean for long. they look great in mags, because they're not really being used. if u live alone, then they aren't so impractical imo. if you have 2 kids, a bf, and a dog, well.....I dislike bathroom rugs anyway, especially the "sets" they sell they did a show one time and showed all the nasty dirt and germs that collect on those things. gross! I just use a towel by the shower - no rugs.

  15. QUESTION:
How Much Would It Cost To Keep A Pony?
A pony i ride is for sale including tack , rugs..ect.

Roughly how much would it cost to keep him ? (per month or year) I may be getting him but im doing a little research first.

We would keep him on our own land but he wont be able to graze in summer months because the grass dies where i live (no rain) XD.

Around how much would i have to spend on tack , food , shoes , ect.. every year? ..

    • ANSWER:
      UK prices roughly:

Feed up to £10 a week
hay £9 a week depending on your local crop and prices
Will he be stabled? If so 10-20 a week for bedding depending on what sort you use.
      Insurance: £30-50 a month
      worming: £10 a month
Maybe £20 a month for little extras like supplements, hoof oil etc.
feet: 45 a month for trims or up to 80 for a full set of shoes...if he has good feet he may be able to go barefoot
Vaccinations and yearly dental work: £60 ish maybe??

Then, if your horse falls ill you will need to pay an excess on your insurance which may be as much as £100 a time. If the horse is too old you may not be able to insure him which means you can be liable for vets bills which can easily cost thousands of pounds. You also need to start an emergency fund for insurance payouts, also a fund for day to day things like ripped rugs is a good idea.

Sorry if your not in the UK. Overall you can expect to pay several thousand a year for a horse if you keep it in livery, of course you will be less if you keep it at home but you need a stable in case the horse gets sick or you get really terrible weather like lightning storms.

Can I clip fuzzballs from my area rug? Can I cut off the fringe?
I recently bought a used area rug at a yard sale. It's olefin (a synthetic) and is in pretty good shape. But, there are a few fuzzballs - can I clip these off with scissors? Also, the fringe is quite long. Can I cut the fringe shorter, so long as I leave length past the knot?

Thanks for any advice. I just don't want to do any harm!

    • ANSWER:
Yup. You can cut the fuzzballs. Here are rug scissors that will work well on that: http://www.carpetandrugbacking.com/double-sharp-scissors-207A.htm. Fringe is merely decorative beyond the knot or whatever method is used to hold the pile in place. You can cut all the way up to there if you so choose. If you cut beyond that, make sure you have the rug professionally bound.

Which conifers look like giant bonsai?
I'm pretty sure what I'm looking for is a type of juniper: about 3-4 feet tall, large naturally twisted trunk, dark green scaled needles...when pruned correctly look like big bonsai.

The only things I can find for sale around here are blue rug, blue star, and something called "pom pom" -- but the pom pom has straight limbs/trunk. I have exactly what I'm looking for in my front yard, but I'm moving so I have to leave it behind...sad.

Anyone know what kind of tree/shrub I'm supposed to be buying here? Much thanks in advance!

  29. QUESTION:
    Ideas for Persian Rug Store.?
I currently operate a rug store that sells almost all persian rugs in Santa Rosa California (in the San Fransisco bay area). Operation is rather stable but I have two issues.

    1. I sell high quality rugs and hence the prices are more expensive reflecting the quality. However, many customers can find designs similar to mine on the internet at 1/3 to 1/4 of the price. (internet is 600, mine are 3000). If you put the rugs side by side you can DEFINATELY tell the drastic difference in quality. How should I cope with this?

    2. I am hoping to think of an idea used to promote the sale of these rugs. Any sort of promotion would be great just to get people to start buying.

I have money to spend on ideas.

    Thanks,
    All help is appreciated.
Best Answer will be chosen promptly.

    • ANSWER:
      1. Regarding the issue about cheaper rugs online: If they really are worse in quality, maybe you should consider putting it on display and comparing it to one of your rugs. That's probably the only thing I can think of right now.

      2. If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Start an online rug business on the side. It doesn't cost a penny more, and you have a better opportunity to give valuable details on your products.

I've been asked to stage a few homes for a builder/contractor. I have interior design experience through furniture sales companies so my compensation has always been commission on sales. The spaces are vacant and someone else has already ordered upholstery and case goods and supposedly lighting, accessories and rugs as well.... should I charge an hourly rate? per square foot? flat fee per home? should I include a materials allowance if there aren't enough lamps or if they forgot bedding or a tablecloth or candles for the candlesticks?

    • ANSWER:
OK depending where you are in the country, and what neighborhood your in. You can do several things. If they are supplying all the furnishings you can't up charge a fee on that, you can put a contingency in the contract that if all materials supplied by the other party are not on site, you can charge a fee for that per day it is missing. I wouldn't do an hourly rate, I would either do per square foot or flat fee for the home. Say if the home is 1800 sf and two floors and in an OK area and must be sold ASAP! Also it should only take 4-5 days to stage I would charge about ,000. If it's your first and want to cut them a break, and you don't have a certification in home staging then probably only 0-0. Hope I was helpful!

  36. QUESTION:
How to remove a stain left by a salt lamp and pencil sharpener dust?
we are putting our house up for sale soon and trying to eliminate any stains in our carpet. there are not many but there are two that will not come up. the first one was when we set our salt lamp on the carpet when we were cleaning the desk and left it there and i guess it leaked or something because it left a wax-ish ring on our beige carpet. it wont come up either. if you dont know what a salt lamp is, it looks like this:
    http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.gascoals.net/Portals/1/electric%2520asst/himalayan%2520salt%2520rock%2520lamps.jpg&imgrefurl=http://www.gascoals.net/Products/ElectricFireplaces/ElectricLogsOtherSimpleElectricFires/HimalayanRockSaltLamps/tabid/1468/Default.aspx&usg=__NgAnIVAb2aBYZ6PyElAmC6ucq7w=&h=347&w=387&sz=77&hl=en&start=0&zoom=1&tbnid=kUdSPs4XHvcSmM:&tbnh=165&tbnw=184&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dsalt%2Blamp%26hl%3Den%26biw%3D1003%26bih%3D385%26gbv%3D2%26tbs%3Disch:1&itbs=1&iact=rc&dur=109&ei=DqO_TL2nEIP-8AbzuJWMBQ&oei=DqO_TL2nEIP-8AbzuJWMBQ&esq=1&page=1&ndsp=5&ved=1t:429,r:0,s:0&tx=139&ty=58

and the other stain is from pencil dust after emptying the pencil sharpener and accidently dropping it....ya.

so how can i get these two stains out of my carpet? we have tried everything from carpet cleaner spray to those carpet rug doctors you rent from lowes or home depot. will i have to replace the carpet?
    thanks so much!
    home remedies are great..
    God bless-livie

    • ANSWER:
For the salt stain, pre-treat with white vinegar. Just pour a little right on the stain. Then let that sit for about 15 minutes.

Then for both stains...use shaving cream. Any shaving cream works as long as it's the normal white foam type. Gels don't work.

Wet the areas lightly then work shaving cream into the stains. Then wipe clean with wet rags.

Shaving cream is nothing but whipped soap that rinses off easily. The last thing you want to use on carpet is overly sudsy soap. You'll never get the suds out.

Shaving cream even worked on mascara for this woman:

If shaving cream can remove mascara, pencil dust is a piece of cake.

  38. QUESTION:
We are going through all of our thousands of peices of Barbie stuff...for a garage sale...wondering what...?
We are going thru all of the barbie stuff we got before when we were little and we are going to have another garage sale with other stuff we want to get rid of including barbie stuff...

and so i found an UN opened fashion fever barbie study space set..brand new. from 2005.

how much do you think its worth now days ?

i found the rug it comes with on ebay for 4 bucks...

    just curious

    thanks

    • ANSWER:
In all honesty, it is probably worth the original purchase price & depending on your area, you may not get that.

I am a long time Barbie collector & I am selling a good part of my collection at doll shows. I am lucky if I get 1/2 of what I originally paid for it & my stuff is all higher end collectible dolls/clothes/etc with very little playline.

Did the rug on ebay actually sell for .00 or is that what the seller was asking? Just because a seller has a set asking price doesn't mean that they will get it.

You probably won't get a lot of collectors at a garage sale so if you want to get rid of this stuff, price it cheap & be willing to lower the prices. Good luck!!

Anyone get a bargain today ?

  40. QUESTION:
What Winter rug do I need for Brisbane?
I have only just moved to Brisbane and I may need to get a new winter rug for my boy. I have always used a 600d 180 fill waterproof combo in winter and put a polar fleece under rug and hood on if it was really cold. Is this enough for brisbane night time in winter? (with or without the polar fleece??) Winter rugs seem to be on sale at the moment and if i need a new one i thought now would be a good time to get it. But i am not sure, do i need a 250 or 300 poly fill??? If anyone is in Brisbane (or similar temps) like 5-20 degrees in winter? 20-35+ in summer?, all seasons, day and night suggestions would be most welcome!!

Please only answer if you really now these conditions and what horse needs. Please don't tell me he doesn't need a rug, I always rug my horses! he is a clipped, thoroughbred hack so needs to be short coated. He is out during the day and in a covered yard at night. I change my rugs over from day to night so suggestion for both would be great!! Thank you

oh and these are the rugs I have (if any of them apply)
    - regular ripstop combo's
    - flag combo
    -polar fleece rug
    - 180 fill 600D combo
    - canvas combo
    -cotton combo
    -polar fleece hood
I have been in the south island of New Zealand, and before that in Port douglas in nth QLD. So I only know really cold and really humid hot! :) So very confused..... Thankyou for your help!! In port douglas, winters were min 17/18 and in NZ min <0 but the horses were in heated stables. So this weather is very in between for me! Thank you so much for your help :)

    • ANSWER:
      Hey there!

I am a horse owner in Brisbane =) --Wow you have a lot of rugs!!

Okay in winter, it's not really thaaatt cold - only at night. So, your horse could wear the canvas, cotton or flag rug during the daytime in winter - it doesn't really matter, just your choice. At night, I would recommend that he wears the polar fleece rug with the hood, and then it would be good to get a thick waterproof Weatherbeta rug to stick on over the top of that. Also, if it's forcasted to rain in the daytime, you can put the waterproof rug on over the top of the thinner rug. Lots of horses over here wear more than one rug at a time.

For summer, you probably want something thinner. It can get up to 40 degrees in late december/early january time, and 30-37 degrees for the rest of summer. It's best to get a mesh rug for then. Try to not get the really soft mesh stuff - even though it says it's "ripstop", they don't usually last long. The best ones are the rugs that look and feel like actual fly screen. That way you can keep all the bugs and itchy things of your horse, but without letting them get too hot and uncomfortable.

For spring and autumn time, probably the regular ripstop combo or flag combo is fine.

      Hope that helped you =)

EDIT: Oops. forgot to mention the polyfil! I'm not sure exactly what you will need, and I can't remember what I have. I am going to the stables tomorrow, so I'll have a look and see if it says somewhere on my Weatherbeeta what Polyfil it is, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can =) I would think you probably only need the 250.

~ Also, where did you move from? It would probably help me figure it out if I could compare it to your old climate.. Thanks!

  41. QUESTION:
Issue pretaining to insuring something from any estate?
My Grandmother resently passed aways & left my brother & I each life insurance policies while her estate went to my mother. My question is that going through her possession to sell the house since it's in Illionois & no one lives there. My mom asked if there was anything my brother or I wanted like furniture, pictures, etc. My question is that if I take a rug or bed frame or dresser, whatever, is there something I will to valid the item for appraisal or sale in the even it became necassarily? I put my name as did my brother on a few items each like dressers or rugs what have you & some are quite old & it's been recommended that I get insurance in case of theft or more likely accidential damage say by a flood or fire so that in that event all would not be lost & my grandmothers wish to "benefit" us would still go on. Just wondering.
One of the items I "put" my name on was a dresser & desk, & a persian rug. I don't know anything about any of them but have the dresser desk set is from before my mom's time & I think was something given to her mom long ago. The rug is quite old & supposably was a few grand when it was purchased traveling in India or something. Don't know if that helps get idea as to what if anything I might need to get them appraised or if I should even bother let alone insure them. Thanks for your help.

    • ANSWER:
Until you move the furniture out of her house, it's still in the posession of her estate, and covered under HER homeowners policy, if she had one. If she DIDN'T have one, the executor of her estate (your mother?) can put one on the premises until the house sells and everything is moved out of it.

Once you "take posession" of it (which means, load it into a moving van, putting your name on it doesn't count for taking posession), then it's covered under YOUR homeowners or rental policy, but NOT for Flood, unless you buy a seperate flood insurance policy. It's also not covered for damage by insects such as termites, rot, mold, or other neglect type issue.
