How could we do this?

We really want to have an outdoor picnic-style reception (we're having about 30 guests). I would love to have it in my parents' backyard. We want a true picnic feel with blankets, pillows and baskets as the "centre-pieces" filled with grapes, apples, cheese and crackers and champagne or sparkling juice. There will be three 75-year-old grandparents there, but we'll set up a table on the deck for anyone who prefers to sit at a table instead.

The problem is, my parents' yard isn't flat. It goes slightly uphill after the edge of the deck. Do you think this would be a problem? It's not steep but it's maybe a 20 degree incline. Would you want to sit on a blanket on a slight hill at a casual reception? Is this just a really bad idea to begin with?

Wheres the cheapest place to buy outdoor throw pillows?

I want to decorate the benches that are built into by throwing some outdoor throw pillows on them but everything I find is like 25 bucks a pillow on up. Thats crazy. Any ideas? Any other cool cheap ways to dress up a deck ?
