Where is the best place to stay in West Palm Beach?

I'm going to West Palm Beach and I want to stay near dining, shopping, and nightlife. Walking distance would be good. A lot of the hotels I looked at are 2-5 miles away from the beach. I would like to be across the street from the beach or ocean front. Walking distance would be good

Miami Beach? best apartment to buy?

I'm going to be moving to Miami soon, and I want to live on Miami Beach. I tried looking up apartments, but I get nothing good, any site you can recommend or if your from the Miami Beach area can you recommend good apartments that are for rent. I'm looking for a 1 bedroom sweet, with living room, dining room, bathroom, and a good veiw of the ocean. priced at any where from $400 to $800 or a little more. Help is needed badly, thanks....
