Some Tips To Build Your Patio Furniture Bar

If you have patio furniture bar is can be so joyful. Many people presume that make patio furniture bar very dificult, but in fact, you can make a patio bar with limited building skills, a little creativity and even a few materials.

Patio furniture bar can be fun and interesting piece of outdoor furniture if you design the bar as a central point of your patio with attractive mosaic tiling on the front and the top for a colorful.

There are some tips to build your patio furniture bar. First of all you can assemble your building materials from your local home improvement shops. Get your size with you and they will cut the treated timber to size. You can find mosaic tiles there too, however you may select to find plates, pottery, glass and other found objects that you can break and employ as a colorful, inspired mosaic.

Add one metal brace on every 4 by 4-inch treated wood post thus that the metal is flush with the top of the board. Attach one of the 3 by 6-foot panels onto the braces to make the top of your patio furniture bar.

Spread thin set on a tiny section of the panel and push the mosaic material firmly into it. Continue tiling the board until it is covered. Allow the adhesive dry. Stand the bar straight and mosaic the top the similar way you tiled the front of the bar. Allow the adhesive dry.

Apply grout over the tiled areas, pressing it into every space between the tiles with a grout float. Spotless the tiles with warm water plus a sponge before the grout dries. Apply sealer to keep the grout from moisture as well as stains. If you used porous tiles for instance travertine, you should apply a tile sealer, rather than a grout sealer, over the whole tiled surface. Always remember to wear safety glasses and gloves when working with wood.

Patio Bistro Q&A

Is this bistro set a good deal?

I am looking for a small bistro set for out patio. I found this one on this site http://www.yourlistonline.com/shopping.php?asin=B000GXDWGU

Am looking for something that is good quality and attractive for a small area.

yes its the best

Why is the easiest way to pimp my patio? It's small space, I want to create a relaxing getaway kind of look.

I'm going to buy a bistro set tomorrow..what else can I add tipps please..I want it to be loungy
I have 2 toddlers so I can't have any possible fire hazard things..

A bistro set is a great start. You can also buy outdoor rugs in a variety of sizes (Google outdoor rug) and if your patio isn't large it shouldn't be very expensive to cover the floor. Install some ceiling hooks and hang some ferns (about $8 each at Lowe's) or if it is a balcony, a hanging windowbox (e.g. http://www.suzyrenovator.com/wp-content/uploads/embossed-copper-planter-plow-hearth.jpg). Finally, if there is a plug try some golden Christmas lights or paper lantern(s), and if there isn't tealights in holders or some candles will do wonders. Hope this helps!
