Hi, I have a patio that is 18 feet x 40 feet and is concrete, but as you can see in my photos a lot of it is old and broken in the gravel. I need help on what I can do besides go back to the concrete. Ideas are a quick fix, such as artificial turf down are welcome. I have to fix, either by using patio pavers in the sand level or slabs of stone over the sand level. Paving blocks, probably would be cheaper, however, to the yard, but to save the demolition of the steps, you could use stone slab and build the only area that has disintegrated. For the patio, I just sweep the loose gravel, sand use paver base level, place the stones on top of it and sweep up the sand. This is how our did it and makes it a wonderful entertainment area. We used the time all resin wicker, which I highly recommend. They do not go away, wash immediately with a hose that not mold or mildew and does not need painting. I made the sofa, coffee table, dining table with 4 chairs and bought two more for use in the "room" with the sofa. I saw a wonderful heater table for under $ 100 at Lowe's that can be used in front of the couch (I wish I had done that instead of the table from time to time.) All barbecues are on sale at both Depot and Lowes, which would be a good addition to your space. You can also pick up cheap chandeliers Big Lots, along with citronella candles to keep bugs away. I would go with some shrubs like pea flowers, peony, azalea, Hawthorne, depending on the weather for a little color.
